Eastwood Securities Pty Ltd is the mortgage manager for the Eastwood Securities Mortgage Fund. It is a specialist property mortgage fund management company with a focus on first mortgage investments.

We provide first mortgage finance to borrowers on the security of real estate. All loans incorporate conservative lending ratios (typically less than 70% of the value of the security property). As part of its asset allocation strategy, Eastwood Securities diversifies its mortgage securities across various property market sectors, geographic location, loan term and loan size.

Mortgage Fund Compliance

Eastwood Securities Pty Ltd is the mortgage manager for the Eastwood Securities Mortgage Fund. It is a specialist property mortgage fund manager with a focus on first mortgage investments.

As required by the Corporations Act, the Responsible Entity of the fund (Melbourne Securities Corporation Limited ACN 160 326 545, AFS License 428289) has lodged its Compliance Plan with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.

The Mortgage Compliance Plan sets out how the Fund will comply with the Corporations Act and how it intends to operate under its Constitution. A copy of the Compliance Plan is available free of charge from the office of Eastwood Securities.

The Compliance Plan identifies the specific responsibilities in relation to operation of the Fund, the valuation of property, reporting to investors, borrowings, the use of external service providers and safekeeping and inspection of records, disaster recovery plans and other matters.

A Compliance Committee has been established to monitor compliance with the Compliance Plan and report to the Directors of the Responsible Entity on a regular basis regarding adherence to the compliance plan, the Corporations Act and the Constitution. If the issues are not satisfactorily addressed by either Eastwood Securities or the Responsible Entity, the Compliance Committee is obliged to report to the Australian Securities and Investments Commission. Where a Compliance Committee member receives information regarding serious breaches of the Compliance Plan, Constitution or the activities of the Responsible Entity he or she has an obligation to report to the Australian Securities and Investments Commission in any event.

Eastwood Securities has established procedures to ensure that your complaint is acknowledged within 24 hours and to enable proper consideration of that complaint within 21 days of being notified.

If that complaint is not dealt with to the satisfaction of the investor or borrower, an application may be made to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA), an independent body charged with reviewing investor complaints, where the complaint will be independently reviewed and adjudicated.
